At the end of 2004, 3 had 124.674 customers in Denmark. Thereby 3 is one of the fastest growing telecommunication operators in Denmark. A wide range of handsets, exciting content and attractive offers have largely contributed to this success.

More than 70.000 customers have joined 3 in Denmark during the last six month of 2004, which means that 3 has more than doubled its customer base in the 2nd half of last year. At the beginning of 2005 the 3 group has commercial 3G activities in 8 countries and more than 6.8 million worldwide.

• Our result verifies our anticipation that the Danish market has matured over the last year and that it is ready for 3G. We are satisfied with the growth of our customer base and our coverage, which is continuously refined and expanded. At the moment 3's network cover 84% of the population and area wise, we now cover 70% of Denmark, says Jesper Weng, General Manager, 3.

Due to the successful increase in customers over the past year, 3 has undergone a significant development. 3 has grown from being a start-up company into a fully developed 3G-telecom service provider. At the moment, the company is adjusting to the tremendous growth is has experienced the past year.

• 3 is the first company able to introduce 3G services in in Denmark. The development in our customer base and our growing experiences with content-based services shows that the Danes have great interest and are heavy users of 3G-services. In particular, they are interested in entertainment services such as gossip-based news, football, music and comedy. The number of downloads per customer have increased rapidly during 2nd half of 2004, says Jesper Weng.

3 commenced commercial activity in Denmark in October 2003. By end of year 3 had 3.425 subscribers. By 30.of June 2004 3 reached 50.359 customers and by end of year 2004 3 reached 124.647.
