Hutch Rs. 199 pre-paid cuts cost of 'going mobile' by 40%
  • Delivers greater value, convenience to first-time pre-paid users

Mumbai, April 27, 2005: Hutch today announced a new pre-paid monthly recharge at Rs. 199 that drastically reduces the cost of 'staying mobile'. The new Hutch pre-paid recharge is 40% lower than the earlier minimum monthly pre-paid recharge of Rs. 330/-.

Hutch and Orange users opting for the Rs. 199 pre-paid recharge will enjoy a talk time of Rs. 50, and validity for 30 days. This denomination is targeted at customers who wish to stay conneted but do not make many calls from their phones. The launch of the new Hutch Rs. 199 pre-paid recharge comes close at the heels of a roaming airtime rate cut and a new 'Zero Rental' plan for post paid users.
