Partner Communications Announces Appointment of CEO of New
Company for Development of GSM Wirefree Applications

Rosh Ha'ayin, Israel - March 22, 2000 - Partner Communications Company Ltd. (NASDAQ: PTNR) announced on March 13th the formation of a new company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Partner Communications, which will develop advanced wirefree applications for implementation on GSM networks worldwide. Partner Communications has also announced that its board of directors approved to invest up to US$100,000,000 (one hundred million US dollars) in the development of business and investment opportunities in the area of GSM wirefree applications.

Today Partner announced the appointment of Mr. Amnon Harary (50) as CEO of the new company. Mr. Harary holds a B.Sc. degree in Physics from the University of Tel Aviv. In his previous appointment he was General Manager of Alcatel Israel. In this capacity he was responsible for all Alcatel's activities in Israel, including the management of the former Tadiran Telecom Public Switching division business.

Previously, Mr. Harary was the Head of the Israeli Air Force Materiel Directorate. His responsibilities included research, development, acquisition, maintenance, logistics and control of all Air Force material: Aircraft, Ground, Support systems and infrastructure. Mr. Harary holds the rank of Brigadier General in his military reserve capacity.

Mr. Harary has been awarded the "Israel Defense Award" for extraordinary contribution in development of a wireless application system for the Israeli Defense Forces.

Mr. Amikam Cohen, Partner Communications CEO and President of the new company said today that "Partner is delighted to welcome General Harary to the orange family in Israel, and is confident that the experience, knowledge and leadership he has shown in his previous posts, will place the new company in a leadership position in the exciting world of the wirefree revolution."
