Hi3G access opens an office in Gothenburg to commence the rollout of UMTS-infrastructure

Hi3G opens a regional office in Gothenburg and builds a local organisation with the task to commence the rollout of UMTS infrastructure in the region.

-The regional office will be crucial in making sure that our services are delivered throughout the region, says Chris Bannister, CEO of Hi3G. The 3G network will combine advanced data services with mobility. Thereby a new medium is created to be used for work and leisure.

Hi3G's regional office in Gothenburg will immediately initiate the process to recruit network implementation specialists and select and hire network implementation consultants with the challenging task of designing, building and operating our UMTS network in the area. The intention is to build the network in close cooperation with local municipalities and to share sites where it is feasible given among other things our ambition to build a high quality network.
