| Cheung Kong (Holdings) Limited (CKH) and Hutchison
Whampoa Limited (HWL) were both presented "1998 Asia's Best
Managed Companies Award" Mainland & Hong Kong category,
today for a consecutive year. |

| The award was resulted from Asiamoney's annual
Best Managed Companies poll conducted between August and November,
in which 250 fund managers from 150 institutional investors
worldwide have nominated the best managed companies in Asia
in 6 different categories. At Euromoney's conference held today,
it was announced that CKH & HWL were both awarded for the Mainland
& Hong Kong category. |
