| The Board of Directors of the Company hereby
announce that Mr. Li Ka-shing, Chairman and Managing Director,
will, with effect from 1st January, 1999, retain only the position
of the Chairman of the Company. Mr. Victor Li Tzar Kuoi, who
joined the Group in 1985 and is currently Deputy Chairman and
Deputy Managing Director, will assume the position of Managing
Director of the Company with effect from 1st January, 1999 and
will continue as Deputy Chairman. The Board sincerely thank
Mr. Li Ka-shing for his many valuable contributions to the Group
as Managing Director, and take this opportunity to wish Mr.
Victor Li every success in his new position. |
