Cheung Kong (Holdings) Limited (CKH) and Hutchison Whampao Limited
(HWL) were both presented "1998-99 REVIEW 200: Asia's Leading
Companies" Award. |

| The REVIEW 200 is the Far Eastern
Economic Review's annual survey that asks subscribers to look
over 525 companies from the perspective of corporate leadership.
At the award presentation ceremony held today, CKH & HWL were
ranked No. 3 and No. 8 respectively among the Top 10 Hong Kong
companies doing business in Asia. |

| In addition, CKH and HWL were
ranked No. 1 and No. 2 in "Management Has Long Term Vision";
while CKH also ranked No. 2 in "Company Others Try to Emulate"
and No. 3 in "Financial Soundness". |
