|
| "Knowledge Changes Fate" is
a 40-part mini-documentary series aiming to promote an important
concept, ie. knowledge helps change the fate of individuals
and improve the well-being of the community. The idea of producing
this documentary originated from Mr Li Ka-shing, Chairman of
Cheung Kong and Hutchison, reflecting his strong belief in the
vital importance of education and knowledge. |
|
The mini-documentaries were
aired on Hong Kong's TVB Jade in the months of May and June,
and have been on air every evening on CCTV in Mainland China
since February. Cheung Kong and Hutchison are considering to
produce a VCD and a book about the series so that the message
of "Knowledge Changes Fate" can be passed on in an even wider
scale.
