The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited, Hang Seng Bank and i21 Limited today announced that they will be offering an Internet-based software solution which integrates a full range of Mandatory Provident Fund ("MPF") and human resources management functions with bank autopay services.
Designed and developed by i21 Limited, this online MPF management solution is tailored for HSBC and Hang Seng Bank, and customised to address the human resources, financial and administrative needs of their MPF customers. It allows business corporations to enjoy reliable, convenient and comprehensive back office support through software solutions on the Internet.
Mr. David Humphreys, Chief Executive of HSBC Provident Fund Services, said: "With this innovative online management tool, we will be able to enhance and further extend our existing MPF service portfolio, which already includes administration, trustee, custodian and investment management services. In fact, this is consistent with HSBC Group's ongoing commitment to deliver a one-stop shop, hassle-free administration of retirement schemes under the MPF system."

This Internet-based MPF management solution includes an online automated payment service provided by HSBC and Hang Seng Bank, which enables efficient and reliable autopay for both MPF as well as payroll requirements. Other powerful and user-friendly features include a comprehensive range of human resources management functions over the Internet, from payroll administration, salary tax calculation to personnel information management. Taking the role as a technical partner, i21 Limited has utilised its existing and proven software product, iHR21, to deliver a proprietary package which addresses the needs of the two banks and their MPF customers..
