CEF Capital Limited (the "Co-ordinator"), BNP Paribas, Hong
Kong Branch, Hang Seng Bank Limited and Standard Chartered
Bank (the "Lead Arrangers"), The Norinchukin Bank (the "Arranger")
and Banco di Napoli S.p.A., Hong Kong Branch and The Sanwa
Bank, Limited, Hong Kong Branch are pleased to advise that
they have successfully closed the club deal of the US$315
million 3-year Term Loan Facility (the "Facility") for Cheung
Kong Finance Company Limited. The Facility is supported by
a guarantee from its parent company Cheung Kong (Holdings)
Limited. CEF (Capital Markets) Limited will act as the Facility
Agent.

| The club deal was closed on April 6, 2001 and
was well-received by the market. The syndicate is well-mixed
with major international banks as well as local banks. The bank
