| (October 4, 2002 – Hong
Kong) In the 2001/2002 Community Chest Award Ceremony held this
afternoon (4th October 2002), the Cheung Kong Group was declared
the top third fundraiser for the year. This is the fourth consecutive
year for the Group to be named one of the top five donors of
the Chest. |

| In the Award Ceremony, six members
of Cheung Kong Group - AS Watson & Co Ltd, CK Life Sciences
Int’l., (Holdings) Inc., Hongkong Electric Holdings Ltd,
PARKnSHOP, Cheung Kong (Holdings) Ltd and Hutchison Whampoa
Ltd – were presented with four Awards of Distinction and
two Awards of Merit. |
