(March 8, 2003, Hong Kong) Hutchison Whampoa Limited and Cheung Kong (Holdings) Limited were ranked third and fifth respectively among Company Leaders in Hong Kong in the latest Review 200: Asia's Leading Companies, an annual survey conducted by the Far Eastern Economic Review. Mr. George Magnus, Deputy Chairman of Cheung Kong and Executive Director of Hutchison Whampoa, represented the companies in accepting the awards during a ceremony.

The two companies also won a number of category awards for the Hong Kong region. Cheung Kong was ranked 2nd in "Long-term Vision" and "Financial Soundness", and 5th in "Companies that Others Try to Emulate". Hutchison was ranked 3rd in "Long-term Vision" and 4th in "Companies that Others Try to Emulate".
