Artist’s Statement: The "Pearl of the Orient" is surrounded by lively waters. The artwork is denominated in organic forms, energized by light, colour and the feeling of oceanic atmosphere. It freshens up the stationary interior and all walks of life.
Artist’s Biography:

Jun T Lai, born in Taiwan in 1953, graduated from the Department of Art, Culture University in 1974 and received a Master of Arts degree from Tama Art University, Japan. She participated in several artist exchange programmes in the US, France and Switzerland. The experiences from learning and living in these countries expanded her horizons. In the past 30 years of creative work, her experiments and innovation have helped to develop the diversity of materials used in her art work. Her vigorous strength and passion for life can be seen from her over 100 exhibits in Taiwan, Japan, the US, Australia, France and Switzerland.
