These awards are the latest in a string of accolades bestowed on the company for the pioneering work achieved in enhancing the operational capability and efficiency of the supply chain. On 5 November, HIT was the Grand Prize Winner at the Asia Pacific Information and Communications Technology Awards (APICTA) 2006 in the Industrial Applications Domain.

Eric Ip, Managing Director of HIT, said, "We take great pride in receiving these latest industry honours as they recognise HIT's ongoing efforts in setting industry standards for the development and deployment of service-enhancing technology. At HIT we are continuously looking into new and improved ways of better serving our customers and contributing to the overall competitiveness of Hong Kong's transport and logistics industry."
