CK Hutchison and Ooredoo Extend Exclusivity Period
for Negotiations on a Combination of
their Indonesian Telecommunications Businesses

(Hong Kong, 28 April 2021) CK Hutchison Holdings Limited (“CK Hutchison”) announces that it has agreed with Ooredoo Q.P.S.C. (“Ooredoo”) to extend the period to pursue negotiations on a potential transaction to combine PT Hutchison 3 Indonesia, a subsidiary of CK Hutchison, and PT Indosat TBK, a subsidiary of Ooredoo on an exclusive basis until 30 June 2021.

Negotiations between the parties have been constructive but require more time to conclude.

No decision has been taken to proceed with any transaction, which remains subject to, amongst others, completion of satisfactory due diligence, agreement on terms, signing of definitive agreements and obtaining of all required corporate and regulatory approvals.
